Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026

Airline fare rules

Refund eligibility comes from the fare conditions set by the operating airline, ticketing carrier, and supplier. Some tickets cannot be refunded, while others may allow a partial refund after penalties, fare differences, supplier charges, or disclosed SkyPassDesk fees are deducted.

24-hour cancellation requests

If you ask to cancel within 24 hours after purchase, we will check whether the airline or supplier permits a void, cancellation, or refund for your exact itinerary. Submitting a request during that window does not automatically guarantee a free cancellation, especially for near-departure travel, international supplier rules, or restrictive tickets.

How to request a refund or change

Email [email protected] or call UPDATE_PHONE_LATER as soon as possible. Include your booking reference, passenger name, airline confirmation if available, travel date, route, and the reason for your request.

Processing timeline

Once a request is approved and all required details are received, eligible refunds are usually submitted to the airline or supplier within 3 business days. Supplier review often takes 7 to 21 business days, and the bank or card network may need additional time to post the credit.

Service fees

When SkyPassDesk charges its own service fee for booking, support, exchange, cancellation, or refund handling, that fee is generally non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed or the requested service has been performed. Airline penalties, fare differences, supplier fees, and processor limits are separate from SkyPassDesk service fees.

Ancillary services

Seats, checked bags, meals, priority boarding, and other add-ons follow the airline or supplier policy. Some add-ons remain non-refundable even when the ticket itself qualifies for a refund.

No-shows

If a passenger misses check-in or does not cancel in advance, the airline may mark the booking as a no-show and the remaining value may be lost.

Involuntary changes

If the airline cancels or materially changes a flight, you may qualify for rebooking, a waiver, credit, or refund under airline rules or applicable regulations. Contact us promptly so we can help submit the request.

Original form of payment

Approved refunds normally return to the original payment method. If that account is closed or unavailable, your bank or card issuer determines how the credit is handled.
